Floral Preservation and Keepsakes: Wedding, Anniversary, Sweet Sixteen, Valentine, Birth Announcement, Memorial Service, etc.
The floral keepsakes featured on this page are preserved in either silica crystals or in a flower press. Three-dimensional flowers (orchids, calla lilies, large roses, peonies) are usually preserved in silica and flowers with single petals (small roses, delphinium, larkspur, sea lavender) are preserved by pressing. Click on "Process" link for more information on pressing. Pressed flowers may be used to create a framed keepsake on either an invitation or a mat that frames a photo. Most samples below are unframed for closer viewing. Silica-preserved flowers can be displayed in glass containers or in shadowbox frames.
Keepsakes are created from original bouquets or flowers from our garden stock. If you would like to give a keepsake as a gift and are not local to Shrewsbury, MA or do not have the actual flowers, then it is still possible! Contact via e-mail with your request. Please send Invitations or Announcements for keepsakes to P.O. Box 242, Shrewsbury, MA 01545. A pressed floral (real flower) gift card will be sent to the recipient to announce that a keepsake will be created as a gift at your request. Please provide the name and address of the recipient. The keepsake will be mailed directly to the recipient (or sent to you) when completed. Prices start at $85 for a standard 8 x 10 clear glass, framed keepsake. UV glass is an option. Additional shipping & insurance charges are based on size & destination. For local customers: Preservation fee for a standard bouquet is $35.
